We can make it through.

Reach Out

A suicidal thought is nothing to be ashamed of nor is it unusual. Most of us live fulfilling lives despite suicidal moments.

Every once in a while, we will face difficult situations. Professional help and support is very important during these difficult times.

Talk to Someone

Make a Plan

A great way to help ourselves stay on the trail is by creating a list or have some steps laid out on how to manage our emotions and actions.

This list can include things like: "How do I take my mind off my problems, and how can I make my environment safe?".

Create your own plan with the template link below.

Talk To Someone

If there isn't anyone you feel comfortable talking to. There are some free therapy options available like this anonymous app called: 7 Cups.

This platform has options to text peers who will give you advice and support just like a friend would.

There is also an option for free therapy, which I highly recommend.

Physical Health

Are you taking care of your physical health?

In times of bad or negative stress or after a major life event, remember to pay attention to your body.

Mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, and it’s important to deal with any health issues that may be holding you back.

Pledge

Promise Yourself (out loud)

I Pledge That i will:
  • openly tell someone if I need help;
  • be aware of the suicide warning signs in myself & others;
  • ask directly about suicide if I’m worried about someone;
  • listen without judgement and do what I can to keep them safe;
